In the process player also takes ownership of the cubes even if irrespective of whether its was neutral or owned by the opponent. If after a move, pip count of a cube goes beyond its maximum, then the pips in the cube are distributed to its neighbours (one pip per neighbour). Each cube has a maximum pips which it can hold which is equal to the number of its neighbours (other cubes touching its side but not diagonally) so 4 corner cubes have two neighbours, remaining cubes on the edges have three neighbours and cubes in the middle have four neighbours. When player clicks a cube which has no owner, its ownership goes to the player and its color changes to the player's color. Each click increases pip count of the cube by one. ![]() Players can only click a neutral cube or their own cube.
